Sattu Ladoo
Healthy sattu ladoo using Nandi Chana Sattu. Made with jaggery and ghee, these protein-rich ladoos are a traditional energy snack. No refined sugar. Perfect for kids and gym-goers alike.
Ingredients
- Nandi Chana Sattu (2 cups)
- Jaggery, grated (1 cup)
- Ghee (3 tbsp)
- Cardamom powder (1/2 tsp)
- Chopped dry fruits (optional)
Steps
- Dry roast sattu on low flame for 3 minutes.
- Melt jaggery with ghee on low heat.
- Mix roasted sattu, cardamom and dry fruits into the jaggery-ghee mixture.
- Shape into round ladoos while warm. Let cool and set.

Shape ladoos while the mixture is still warm. If it crumbles, add a little more ghee. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
