Sattu Sharbat (Namkeen)
Ingredients
- Nandi Chana Sattu (2 heaped tbsp, lagbhag 30g)
- Thanda paani (1 glass, 250ml)
- Neebu ka ras (1/2 neebu)
- Kala namak (1/4 tsp ya swad anusar)
- Bhuna jeera powder (1/4 tsp)
- Hari mirch (1 chhoti, optional, finely chopped)
- Pudina ke patte (4-5, optional)
Steps (Detailed)
- Glass mein Sattu daalein: Ek bade glass mein 2 heaped tablespoon Nandi Chana Sattu daalein.
- Thoda paani daalein pehle: Pehle 2-3 tbsp paani daalein aur chamach se ache se ghol lein. Lumps nahi rehne chahiye. Yeh step important hai.
- Baki paani daalein: Ab pura thanda paani daalein aur mix karein.
- Masala daalein: Kala namak, bhuna jeera powder aur neebu ka ras daalein. Ache se hilayein.
- Garnish: Hari mirch (agar chahein) aur pudina ke patte daalein.
- Serve karein: Turant pee lein. Sattu neeche baith jaata hai, toh peete waqt baar baar hilayein.
Meetha Version: Namkeen ki jagah meetha chahiye toh kala namak aur jeera mat daalein. Uski jagah 1 tbsp cheeni ya gur daalein. Neebu rakh sakte hain. Dono version equally refreshing hain!
